About Designer
Hi! My name is Tatiana (aka “Tania”). I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in the early 2000s after earning a degree in Cultural Studies and working as a marketer for one of the largest broadcasting companies.
Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to visual expression — I started studying and practicing art when I was just 7. Life didn’t give me the chance to pursue a degree in art or design right away, but thankfully, I eventually got to follow that path. I studied under incredibly talented design professionals at California College of the Arts and earned my second bachelor’s degree in design.
After graduating, I spent four years working in the beautiful world of publishing before transitioning into crafting brand and digital experiences at an iconic American fashion brand. There, I created emails, site assets, landing pages, social content, and even contributed to some physical spaces as a designer. Over time, I realized I wanted to refocus and expand into UX and product design — a space where research, empathy, and creativity come together.
I’m passionate about thoughtful, research-driven design that improves everyday life, and I’m especially drawn to mission-driven teams that value creativity, collaboration, and curiosity. I’m excited to keep learning, contribute with intention, and design solutions that resonate on both functional and (especially) emotional levels.
In my free time, I love taking long city walks with my family, practicing photography, working on watercolor projects, and learning French.
